Day 16 makes me think of Joe Montana

You want how many scoops of chocolate chips?
Day 16

Sorry about the no information on Tuesday.  I’ve been fighting a terrible ear-infection and it has me slightly off my game.   However I’m getting tubes put into my ears later on this year so I should have almost brand new ears by Christmas.  So I hope to not miss any time due to faulty ears.

Tonight I am scooping ice-cream from 7:30-8:15;  It is your child’s opportunity to come and boss me around and make me do complicated desserts.

Photos are tomorrow sometime after 11:00 a.m.

We also are going to the library tomorrow.

Today --
Language Arts Assessment  -- we are now about 95% done.   Students completing their work early, have either Dear time, study for vocab. work or work on homework.

Chapter 2 test -- we reviewed last night’s homework and the students as a whole did super well.  They earned between 85%-95% as a class on the homework assignments.  That is super awesome!!

Science rotation --
THREE students did not complete last night’s homework of 158, 160 and 3 vocab words.
The other 27 students were prepared and completed their assignments!!
Homework: Page 161 and 162 due Thursday / also they must return their first quiz signed by their parent/guardian.

Singing --- we are still in the good and not great section for behavior.  However the teacher wrote, “improvement over last week.”

Math
Multiplication Properties and Estimating with multiplication
Click here for video on commutative property

click here for the associative law of multiplication

Students were then given 20 minutes to begin working on their homework.

Vocabulary review for the week.
Students worked in groups of 5 to share their definitions, come to an agreement on the best stated definition and then share their sentences.

Kind regards,
