Day 22
I’m back :)
Today was our “Technology Thursday”
Click here to see all of the exciting things that we did today.
We practiced typing,.
We worked on Chapter 3 multiplication or reviewed the first four chapters of the book.
We then watched a great Khan video that broke down the usefulness of the Singapore math.
Finally we tried our hand at being a legislator and/or President of the United States.
We then had library time. Ms. Klein did a great lesson on how to use our schools “destiny” system to look up books. They covered the different ways to look up books.
Then we had our first buddy visits with Mrs. Lombardo’s kindergarten class. Please ask your son/daughter about their new buddy. They did a “team building” exercises with their buddy today and completed our time with them by reading stories to them.
After buddies we worked on some more math. We are gearing up for the chapter 3 test that will take place on Tuesday.
Click here for the last two days of math notes.
The kids did have Universal Access time with Mrs. Cargo.
We ended the day with another 25 minute math “jam” session.
We ended the day with Mrs. Silva kicking off her “Heritage Project.” So please look for that brown handout. It contains more information about the project and it does have your student needing to interview you or whoever knows a ton about your family history.
I apologize for not note yesterday, I had meetings combined with my darn ear that refuses to get better.
Kind regards,
