Day 171 of week 37

8 more days to go and we have many opportunities for learning and fun ahead.

Students are working on their Lewis & Clark projects, CNN projects, revising their persuasive essays, showing off their goal folders and having various art projects up and ready to present.   Their homework is to have everything ready to present to the public at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday night.

We also did some more lessons on manners today.   Elbows on the table?  Cutting with a knife & fork -- do you have to switch hands ‘every’ time?  Which direction do we pass the food at the table?  Can we ever pass it the other way?

We also did this great silhouette art exercise today.  Your challenge will be to find which silhouette is your child’s tomorrow night.  Believe me, it will not be as easy as you think.

They do also have the final exam in the states and capitals on Friday.
