Technology Thursday --

The big thing we covered was taking the district survey, watching two videos about interest,banking, & credit and catching up on our CNN Students.
Manners Tea ---
The students truly rose to the occasion with everyone dressing respectfully and more importantly everyone using their best behavior(s).
A special thank you to our two room moms who helped spearheaded and met numerous times to make this big challenge a reality.
After manners the students watched the four videos from our Open House. I took 1,200 photos that our students took w/ the five classroom cameras during the four days at camp and tried to make a condensed essence of our 5th grade camp.
After lunch we watched the 4th grade egg drop competition.
We watched and discussed the entire Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover movie.
Finally we ended the day with a circle time where we discussed our favorite parts of the manners tea and we shared our dream for the first day of summer break.
**Reminder****
The final exam of the states and capitals is tomorrow morning.
We will also present our CNN and Lewis and Clark projects in the morning after the final exam.
We end the day w/ our family life discussion. So if you are inclined use tomorrow’s classroom discussions to have a meaningful follow-up conversation with your son/daughter tomorrow afternoon.

Promotion Ceremony
Friday, June 8th, 10:30 a.m. in multipurpose room. Please have students wear their nicest clothes to school. Doors open @ 10:00 a.m., maximum of 4 guests per student (limited seating available, NO reserved seats). Cookies served in the courtyard immediately following ceremony. REMEMBER TO GO TO CLASSROOM BEFORE LEAVING CAMPUS TO PICK-UP YEARBOOK, REPORT CARDS, JACKETS AND SWEATERS. Students may leave with their families immediately following.
