Tuesday #137 2011 2012

Day 137 of Week 30
Tuesday, April 3, 2012

Happy new week.  Sorry for no email yesterday.   Camp paperwork, assembly practice and practicing for the school’s school board presentation tonight has me super busy.    We have students giving speeches and demonstrating our on-line computing skills tonight.  If you are bored, the presentation begins at 6:30 at the D.O.

Today -- following up on their number analysis, goal setting and reviewing their growth this year, we began taking their fourth needs assessments in language arts and math.  When we return from camp these assessments are going to help us specifically focus our attentions on the skills that need the most reteaching as we prepare for the May testing.

4th grade science review -- students watched a movie on energy and closed/open circuits.  The packet on 4th grade physical sciences is due tomorrow.

5th grade science with Wilmott

Cargo -- more geometry practice.

We leave for camp in 4 1/2 school days!

  • Please submit to classroom teacher ALL student paperwork tomorrow! Today was the due date.
  • Camp Chaperones cleared to drive please let us know how many available seats you have in your car? Advice teacher if you are willing to drive (we would only need a copy of insurance for the car transporting students and driving points).
  • Parents who are already cleared to drive from LLNL field trip .... please reply to teacher if you're available to transport students back and forth to Camp Arroyo. Let us know how many seats you have for students. DES Tuesday, April 17 @ 11:00-12:30 and pick-up Friday, April 20 in Livermore @ 12:30-1:30.
  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COOPERATION!

Kind regards,
