So we are down to our final 1.5 months of the school year.
A few things:
1. The 50 states and capitals exams were originally going to be given out on 4/11, 4/18, 4/25 and 5/2; We are going to start that up on 4/18. So there will be an exam on 4/18, 4/25, 5/2 and 5/9;

2. On April 16th 2:15 in room C-5 we are going to host an informational meeting for all 5th-grade parents and also begin the process of soliciting "project managers" & volunteers. The volunteers will be for both the May promotion (Thursday, May 30th @ 10:30'ish) and the last day of school celebration (Friday, May 31st).

3. FAME day (April 19th)
5th grade will be between 11:40-12:40
4/19 is a Friday.

4. Homework EVERY NIGHT this week:
a) 25 minutes of reading for enjoyment (Monday-Thursday evenings)
b) 25 minutes of Khan Academy -- 5th grade Eureka math
- They should be using pencil and paper
- Some students will be reviewing main concepts covered this school year, while some kids are working on 6th or 7th-grade curriculum.
- Students must sign in with either their Google (@mydusd.org) or through Clever for me to verify their 25 minutes of work.

5. Dublin Elementary's Open House will be Thursday, April 18th from 6 through 7 p.m.
